Caves & Capers
I started playing a stripped down version of D&D with my kids in 2019. It always made me chuckle hearing the things they would say or interact with during our sessions so I started to record them. I’m going to be honest with you, the intent of this podcast is to have a space to collect all the silly clips we’ve recorded so that I can easily share with friends and family. It’s not really a “traditional” D&D podcast. I may upload raw sessions (with a few things edited out) in the future but for now it’ll just be the clips I find most entertaining. Some of the recordings may seem out of context (and tbh a lot of the earlier ones are) but I try to provide some context in the descriptions. Players: Dad - DM and Gum. Gum is a lizardman fighter and traveling companion of Thorn and Slimer. Elika - Thorn. Thorn is a dwarf bard who plays the drum. Some of his spells include Sleepy Beat and Thunder Crunch. He recently got the Ring of Spider-climbing and uses it every chance he gets. Riley - Slimer. A literal ball of slime. He stores everything he owns inside his slime body including the sword he fights with. His signature move is to throw balls of slime at his enemies’ eyes. If you enjoy the content cool, if it’s not for you that’s cool too. Thanks for checking it out.

I let my oldest try her hand at DMing. Her story was fun but I’m not so sure it was fair.
